Going Live, Monitoring Bot, and Ongoing Management
Further details on how to manage your bot
Hopefully now your bot will be actively managing liquidity on your exchange's orderbook. To ensure optimal performance:
Monitoring:
Regularly check bot performance by logging into your market making account on your exchange and check the history trade page.
Monitor market depth, spreads, and executed orders. You can do this directly on the Pro Trade page and check the OPEN ORDERS vs. the RECENT TRADES to make sure everything is working as planned.
Management Tips:
Periodically review and adjust bot parameters to align with changing market conditions. For example, in up markets you may want to go heavier on the buy side and reduce the spread.
You may need to refill the balance if your bot buys or sells too much on one side. Always having enough sell and buy side liquidity is key to market making (profits are a secondary benefit and shouldn't be the focus for your bot).
