# Start Exchange

If you are a Cloud user, just go to the 'manage' section of the HollaEx Dashboard, and click the buttons there. Simple!

## Starting the exchange

```
hollaex server --start
```

This command is like an "on" switch for your exchange. You should run this command after the`hollaex start --setup` to start the exchange and get it online. This command also applies the latest changes to the `settings` directory.

This command also works to start the stopped exchange with the `hollaex server --stop` command.

## Starting the exchange web

```
hollaex web --start
```

You can start the stopped exchange web server with this command. It is required to run this command to actually start the exchange web server after finishing the `hollaex web --setup` procedure.
